The candidate will work closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional partners across the company to incorporate privacy considerations into the products and services we're developing and help shape company's privacy vision. Will serve as a subject matter expert for company's global policy organization on Central Product Services initiatives, and work with other policy teams to evaluate and respond to legislative and regulatory developments around privacy. Evaluate and provide guidance on the privacy implications of new products, features, and initiatives. Work with product managers, engineers, product designers, lawyers and others to help interdisciplinary teams simultaneously identify and address policy, legal, engineering, user interface, business, marketing and other privacy challenges. Serve as an representative for company regarding privacy issues, including at external meetings and conferences. Analyze global legislative and regulatory proposals concerning privacy, data security, and other technology issues. Must have Bachelors degree. Should have 6+ years of experience with privacy, data, or technology policy issues (4+ years with advanced degree in relevant field). Must have experience counseling clients or partners on privacy and data policy issues and managing multiple business priorities. JD or equivalent, MPP, or technical degree preferred. Experience working directly with senior executives to support business decision-making desired. Understanding of mobile and Internet technologies and how data is processed to support them a plus. Experience with complex policy analysis desired. Experience planning and executing cross-functional initiatives preferred.
