Senior Director of Gift Planning
The candidate will assist in growing its impact across campus. Day-to-day tasks will focus on managing a portfolio of planned giving prospects from identification through cultivation and solicitation. Reports directly to the Assistant VP of Gift Planning and oversees two planned giving fundraisers. Bachelor’s degree required. Should have 6 years fundraising experience with a proven record of success in identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding annual, special or major gifts from individuals, or equivalent experience practicing tax/estate related law; ability to travel (including overnight trips) approximately 50% of the time and work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Must have law degree or CPA designation; formal education and/or training in charitable gift planning, estate planning, personal trust administration and charitable tax law. Should have documented experience in managing projects and strategic planning; previous experience in fundraising campaign planning. Must have leadership skills and management experience within a gift planning office at a non-profit organization.
