IT-Business Systems Analyst II

Profile

The Sr Analyst who is be part of the IT Strategy and Planning Vendor Management team, will be responsible for all aspects of vendor management and software and hardware asset management for the assigned set of IT vendors. Responsibilities include but not limited to working actively with the Sourcing and Legal organizations on new negotiations; become thoroughly knowledgeable of all assigned vendor contracts and products providing company-wide view of entitlements, deployments, and a gap analysis for any delta working with the POCs from the cross organizations; completing the maintenance renewals in a timely manner. The Sr. Analyst will also be responsible for completing special projects to drive cost reduction initiatives within and across organizations that require creativity and innovative ideas to transform status quo activities; will drive synergies for product rationalization efforts to maximize on vendor contracts and products and reducing operational expense.


*Required Skills & Experience
Excellent communication, writing, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision (i.e. self-motivated and willing to meet critical deadlines). Ability to work successfully in a cross functional team environment. IT Asset Management experience and understanding of complex licensing models for hardware and software products; familiarity with contract terms in an IT environment.

5 years ideally experience
** BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or equivalent work experience
** License and Contract Review and Interpretations
** License and Inventory monitoring and analysis
** Ability to facilitate group meetings/discussions
** Demonstrate decision making abilities
** Strong Written and Oral Presentation Skills
** Ability to manage multiple vendors at one time
** Needs to have a strong working knowledge of hardware/software products
** Need proficient level of expertise in: Excel, Word, Pivot Tables and Power Point
** Ability to facilitate group meetings/discussions
