SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
We're looking for a seasoned Web Marketing Manager to help transform Portworx.com for best- in- class web experience for customers & prospects. This role is key to ensuring the highest quality implementation and successful outcomes of our web marketing initiatives.
As a critical member of the demand gen team, you will play a key role in all the large strategic web initiatives on the roadmap as well as being able to own the day-to-day management of portworx.com content and architecture. You will work with key stakeholders to create and optimize content updates and enhancement projects driving to deliver a superior visitor experience as well as measurable business results with every update to the site.
You'll create, manage, and optimize A/B experiments to generate pipeline from website. You'll work closely with the rest of the marketing team, design, sales, engineering, and the leadership team.
Own and optimize the portworx.com site user experience by
analyzing, creating, measuring and optimizing experiences based on user needs, while accelerating the buyer's journey
Create and execute companies' SEO strategy, including the development of long-term, scalable SEO programs, driving their execution and reporting results
Collaborate with cross functional teams like demand gen, product marketing, brand teams and others to ensure brand messaging is up-to date on the website
Work closely with demand gen team on creating microsites/landing pages for campaigns
Manage and own reporting to drive insights, identify opportunities and measure success. Share the insights to executive leadership on regular basis
Ensure proper site tagging and structure for web analytics. Work closely with marketing operations and web dev on reliable lead flow from web site and campaign tracking.
Manage and optimize SEO program and track keywords
Own roadmap for A/B testing on the website to improve engagement and conversion on the website
Hands-on inputting of assets into the CMS, in addition to being instrumental in influencing CMS enhancements and the overall CMS functionality roadmap.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
5 years web marketing experience, preferably with SaaS or B2B software.
Deep understanding of SEO principles.
Excellent and sophisticated writing, editing, verbal and visual communication skills. Content strategy and copy editing skills
Experience with content management system required; WordPress or Adobe Experience
Self-starter with excellent project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with chatbot tools like Drift
Hands-on with A/B testing tools like Adobe testing or Optimizely
Data-driven decision maker adept at leveraging web analytics tools. Adobe Analytics preferred. Familiarity with Marketo and Salesforce a plus.
In-depth knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, a data-driven mindset. Understanding of success metrics and ability to measure performance accurately.
Excellent communication skills & collaborate with cross functional & leadership teams
Excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail.
