Project Manager - Financial Systems
The candidate will provide expert technical project leadership and systems analysis support for Firm’s office. Will lead teams for new process and system enhancements including Oracle EBS, Concur, Workday, NQuIRE, Hyperion EPP, and others where needed. Provide technical expertise in business systems, including onsite or cloud based systems, and a high degree of communication and collaboration are required. Provide expert guidance to team members, other project managers and program manager related to project and program issues and assignments. Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams to resolve complex financial system issues. Develop and maintain project and program plans with clearly defined scope, milestones, deliverables, and due dates to assure on-time implementation and testing of financial system upgrades and enhancements. Monitor adherence to master plans and schedules. Lead meetings with project teams and consultants. Perform timely status updates on project/program status to key stakeholders, including executive management. Develop test plans and oversee testing process and progress and monitor results to assure the on-time completion of testing cycles. Assess conversion needs, design conversion strategy and oversee conversion process and results from extraction to final conversion load. Develop training plan and oversee its execution for training project teams on the new system procedures and processes. Investigate, analyze and assess possible solutions to complex financial, interface and system issues related to the system applications. Liaison and collaborate with functional and technical teams, providing expertise and oversight for the implementation of optimal solutions in accordance with appropriate financial and governmental standards. Create and monitor metrics, issue status reports and initiate improvements to the defect and enhancement tracking tickets. Meet with key stakeholders regarding those priorities and resolving issues. Must have relevant Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Or, relevant Master's Degree and 3 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education /experience. Or, relevant PhD or equivalent relevant education /experience. Or, relevant JD or equivalent relevant education/experience. Should have complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field. Must have general knowledge of other related disciplines. Considerable knowledge of laws, regulations, principles, procedures and practices related to specific field. Should have experience with integration of new systems with Oracle database and billing system. Must have experience evaluating, selecting, preparing and implementing new systems.
