Graduate Clinical Legal Fellow
Fellow will work in its on campus legal clinics. Will work under the direct supervision of the Legal Clinic Director. Will assist in projects and program development to include expanding community lawyering and outreach in the area of Elder and Health Law, and advocacy for those experiencing homelessness. The projects will focus on the delivery of practical consumer information that will serve the dual purpose of raising the awareness of legal issues and rights for our clients and community, as well as increasing the visibility of our clinics using various platforms from social media, video, fact sheets and pamphlets. In addition, will assists in the review, revision, and update of procedure, templates, forms, and organization of our shared network resources, to include remote work processes, and other duties as assigned. Prepare presentations on legal issues facing vulnerable and underserved residents of Sacramento County with the assistance of clinic students and under the supervision of legal clinic director and individual clinic supervising attorneys. Write and edit brochures, newsletters, website content and other community education, marketing and efforts. Expand relationships with various government entities, bar associations and community partners to co-sponsor to educate service providers and the community. Help develop practice guides and other resources for use in the Legal Clinics.
