Project: Website Redesign, Email Upgrade, and .sql Database Organization
The Deer Valley Pilots Association (DVPA) is 501(c) (4) non-profit organization advocating for its members and tenant aircraft owners and pilots based at the Phoenix-Deer Valley Airport. With a membership between 200-250 members, the Board of Directors for the DVPA continuously strive to improve the level of services provided to the general aviation community at Deer Valley. This is accomplished by responding to the membership by phone, email, and web posts to resolve issues and by working with city, state and federal agencies as needed. The association also sponsors social events.
The association is requesting proposals to redesign and simplify its website (current website is [login to view URL]), upgrade its email system, and simplify the membership database. The goal is for all three of these components to be fully integrated and automated to the maximum extent possible. The new website will be Wordpress based. The association’s current database is .sql based. The current email system is unknown but the association is open to recommendations (Mailchimp, Gmail, etc).
