As a Senior Director, Procurement, you will be responsible for:nnYounwill be chartered with developing a sourcing strategy aligned with specificnbusiness needs, building a strong functional organization, establishing bestnpractices, negotiating global agreements with preferred suppliers, identifyingnand driving continuous improvement initiatives.You reportndirectly to the Head of Global Strategic Procurement organization for SiemensnHealthineers and In-Country to the Head of SCM.Younwill be responsible for Strategic Procurement Globally for UltrasoundnManufacturing Sites, which includes all direct material purchases and allnsupplier selections (Supply Base approx. 500, includes Tier 1, 2 & 3nSuppliers), for delivering US Solutions.LeadingnUS team of 9-10 direct reports to deliver key commodity performance indicators,nincluding: costs savings, supplier rationalization, low-cost region sourcing,nrisk management, purchased volume under agreement, joint innovation, suppliernperformance, etc. This includes also global responsibilities for UltrasoundnProcurement Korea with around 15 employees.This position may suit you best if you are familiarnwith what is below, and would like to do develop your career withnHealthineersYou have driven and executed on multiple and competingnprojects with demanding deadlines.You have shown understanding of the importance of processnimprovements and “digitalization” changing internal processes and people managementnrequirements.You are passionate about the Ultrasound business and havena proven track record of motivating people through your leadership andnauthenticity within your own team and cross-functionally while striving towardsnshared company goals.You have advanced knowledge of SAP, Supply ChainnManagement, and Lean Management (or HPS).nnRequirednskills to have for the success of this roleBachelor’sndegree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or similar education. Advancedndegree preferred.10 nyears of strategic procurement, supply chain management and sourcing experiencenwith increasing global responsibility in a large matrixed organization. Internationalntravel experience, intercultural management skills and a willingness to travelndomestically and overseas, 40% of the time.
