Security/Penetration test to Desktop Software
We have desktop software written in C/C used for thermal imaging. There are 2 parts to the software, a management console that hosts all algorithms for thermal detection and other software basically is a UI interface and temperature displaying software. We will provide a laptop with access to it with the software(s) installed.
Need a security testing expert to run all tests to ensure the software is safe, does not transmit data outside to the network, doesnt no ping servers/IPs etc. ITs a 3rd party software so we need to make sure it doesnt hack into out network.
Please provide details on how you plan to do this test, what tests will you perform, what tools will you use and what your deliverable will be.
