Description

The Senior Software Quality Testing Engineer thoroughly evaluates the software products according to the business standards or function requirements. The Senior Software Quality Testing Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This position will direct and assist all Service Operational teams with writing and executing test cases.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Quality Testing Engineer isolates, tracks defects, and verifies fixes. The engineer will develop test strategy and monitor progress towards implementation. They will also develop test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements.The ability to identify testing needs gaps and process improvement opportunities. They must be very familiar with the software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies and begin to influence the department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree
3-5 or more years of health care, testing and/or technical experience
Develops test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements
Must have business experience implementing and testing IT products/software.


Preferred Qualifications


Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
A self-starter that can think outside of the box and can think creatively about strategy and implementation.
PMP, ASTQB, CTFL certification
Comfortable with Qtest, Jira, Azure, Excel, Access, Visio etc.
