Are you an experienced Caregiver or CNA looking to work the perfect schedule? We are looking for caregiver to take care of a male client. He has dementia and needs assistance with meal prep, companion care and drive to some appointments. Interviewing experienced candidates for immediate hire.
Responsibilities: Work with seniors one on one in their home for non-medical assistance. While each client's needs are personalized and may not require all skills listed, we look for candidates experienced (or willing to be trained) to inject joy into clients day; comfort or soothe clients in need, provide entertainment and plan leisure time, provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, med reminders, toileting, companionship, dementia care, client transportation to errands or appointments, meal planning and prep, transfers, mental and social stimulation, good communication, follow policy & procedure for non medical care, protective oversight, speaking with your managers to convey your valued input for client care planning, decline or progress; time management, charting on every shift, exercise your unique creativity when at work with clients, calendaring, assist with hobbies, end of life care, light housekeeping, mentor other caregivers from time to time.

Has at least one year care giving experience
Is knowledgeable in dementia care
Is passionate for the job and helping others
Wants to exercise your own creativity in helping others
Has reliable transportation
Can engage clients
Will consent to background check, drug screen, and reference check
Has a knack for meal planning & preparation
Has a hunger to learn how to best care for your client
Can work autonomously
Is relatable
Is able to take a look around and see what needs to get done without being told and do it!
Has time management skill
Exercises good judgement
Is willing to mentor other caregivers from time to time
Takes pride in work
Is local to the area so you can work regular hours with clients in one or more of the following Douglas County areas: Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Elizabeth, Larkspur, Sedalia
We offer 4hr, 6hr, day shifts, 8-12hr day or night shifts, Day and overnight On-****.00 per hour
