SQL SERVER / .NET DEVELOPER

We are looking for a SQL .Net Developer with experience integrating legacy systems and merging and adding application solutions and features to existing architectures. The initial contract will be for 6 months, with a high probability of extending beyond that, and becoming a long-term opportunity.

Technical Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Experience with N-Tier application development.
* Expertise in XML, ASP.NET Framework and C# technologies.
* Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with SQL Server database development and management including performance monitoring and optimization; creating stored-procedures, queries, views, and triggers.
* Ability to manage large scale database for high performance and availability.
* In-depth SQL knowledge is required, including advanced tuning skills.
* Web Service development experience is required. WCF experience desired.
* Ability to troubleshoot issues from front end to back end.
* Should be able to read/understand Java code.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to share ideas and work well in small teams.
* Possesses excellent problem solving capabilities.
* Independent and self-motivated.

Preferred Skills:
* Finance / Investment experience is a major plus.
* Experience integrating Java applications with web services.
* Knowledge of WPF and other front-end technology is a plus.
