Manager - Statutory Accounting and Analysis
The candidate will be responsible for: Manage the Statutory P&L modeling process. Provide reporting, analysis and accounting reconciliations as needed to offices to support statutory or tax audit requests and assist in offices' understanding. Monitor interfirm activity and liaise with office Finance teams and expert Finance teams as it relates to proper accounting for transactions for statutory and internal management accounting purposes. Liaise with Finance teams on accounting issues and provide training as necessary. Determine accounting for transactions that require different treatment for statutory purposes and oversee training and implementation. SAP Reporting development, testing and training as needed. Develop creative ways to meet the statutory accounting and reporting objectives in a changing environment. Recruitment, supervision and development of team members. BA/BS or equivalent degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent preferred. Should have extensive accounting experience in a corporate or professional services environment; experience in a multi-national environment preferred. Must have solid proven management experience. Should have excellent understanding of general accounting principles. Must have knowledge of financial systems (SAP preferred), and business applications and languages (Excel, Access).
