VB.NET Developer

Profile

Our client in N. County, San Diego is seeking an experienced VB.NET Developer to join their team. This is a direct hire engagement with a growing organization that offers excellent benefits, a strong company culture and advancement opportunities.
Job Duties:
Design, implement and support new VB.NET applications, services and websites.
Write VB.NET code and SQL stored procedures to fix or enhance existing custom software applications.
Test and refine site modifications prior to release
Deploy code changes to production environment
Monitor Help-Desk and satisfy support requests
Debug and deploy fixes to known issues
Write T-SQL queries to investigate client website difficulties, web errors, etc.
Configure Microsoft Azure platform services
Configure on-premise IIS websites
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is required
Must have at least 2 years developing .Net Web Applications.
Some Agile/TDD experience is required
Requires a high level of proficiency in all of the following: VB, .NET, SQL, HTML, Javascript.
The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical personnel.
Must be dedicated, hardworking and have the ability to work independently or within teams, and to assimilate new technologies
Must be able to work on-site, no telecommuting
Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
