Government Affairs Analyst
The candidate will serve as a client and project coordinator; support business development efforts, including research on potential clients and drafting proposals, as well as drafting articles and blog posts; engaging in research and drafting updates on legislative, regulatory, and policy developments; and drafting advocacy documents. Will engage in advocacy before Congress and the administration and, accordingly, will be registered as a lobbyist. Experience with the policymaking process and working on Capitol Hill is helpful, although interest in public policy is essential. Business and organizational experience is important. We are seeking an intellectually curious person who is a quick study and thrives in a high-paced environment. Must deliver exceptional customer service; Must have an intense focus on proactive project management and coordination, including the ability to organize and maintain progress on several major legislative projects simultaneously by advancing deliverables, tracking through organizational skills and systems, and the ability to manage up and down; Must have a bachelor’s degree; an advanced graduate degree is preferred.
