Setup a rotary encoder to measure distance
The goal if this project is to use a rotary encoder to measure a camera focus ring turn. The motor will be fixed to a camera and track the lens focus ring rotation. The rotation variable should be instantly passed as a variable to be used in other desktop applications. The camera needs to ability to move about with @30ft of line.
The developer will need help select the rotary encoder device.
The final result will look similar to the attached image.
