The candidate works primarily with the Senior Associate General Counsel in charge of international legal matters but may assist the other attorneys in OVPGC from time to time on other legal issues affecting **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s eight-campus system. Work may include assisting in the establishment and maintenance of IU’s “Gateway” offices overseas, reviewing cross-border research activities and agreements, researching legal issues affecting overseas programs, and handling a variety of cross-border compliance matters. Must have Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from either the IU Maurer School of Law or the IU McKinney School of Law and licensed to practice law. Superior ability to analyze and identify legal issues in a higher education setting. Strong legal research skills preferred. Excellent communication skills including ability to interact and communicate effectively with university administration, faculty, and staff desired.
