SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supervising the janitorial procedures of a specific shift making sure all areas are properly cleaned vacuumed and restocked for the next business day. This includes ensuring team members have been instructed on the proper safety procedures to be used in or around the work area and gaining knowledge of all cleaners and MSDS.

Other responsibilities include ordering supplies when necessary and taking care of daily administrative duties i.e. employee records and work schedules.

Other duties include conducting monthly safety meetings scheduling ongoing training for team members and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: 1 plus years. Previous Supervisory experience is preferred.

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills

Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills: Position must maintain a high level of customer service as well as train those on the daytime shift to utilize diplomatic customer service skills when responding to Team Members. Manage and perform skilled housekeeping services with an eye for detail to review cleanliness of building. Incumbent needs a working knowledge of utilizing standard janitorial equipment as well as janitorial supplies and materials utilized on various surfaces and in various locations throughout the assigned area.

Physical Requirements: In exercising these functions the incumbent should be able to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently and or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move object.

Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar and or interrelated tasks and activities. On occasions there will be some weekend supervision needed however this will be worked out with the corporate maintenance supervisor for equal comp time off.

Travel: Limited travel between local buildings located in Northwest Arkansas.
