Director of Student Success
Duties: Provides direct services to students for student success advising, assessment, and counseling, and when necessary, refers students to other appropriate services. Provides overall high-quality coordination of the development and execution of a comprehensive program for law school students. Collaborates with career services, academic units, student life, admissions staff, and other support services to develop and deliver co-curricular programming to support a comprehensive student success program. In collaboration with relevant departments, assists in the development and implementation of programs, services, protocols, and assessments that support the Law School’s goal of attaining an increasing and improved retention rate. Coordinates the development and implementation of a comprehensive program of Orientation for law students at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semester. Coordinates a comprehensive communication plan for students that updates them of their student success plan completion. Regularly conducts assessment on all student success program components Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the student success office. Assists with career services, student life, and other duties as needed. Attends school functions as necessary including nights and weekends. Collaborates with and provides support to senior leadership to accomplish School of Law initiatives, goals, and objectives. Participates in continuing education opportunities covering student success.
