Adjunct Faculty - Tax
The candidate teach tax courses within our Master’s in Accounting Program. The courses include Advanced Personal Income Taxation, Corporation Taxation, Pass-through Entity Taxation and Gift & Estate Taxation. The 12-week courses will be taught online. Some of the course sections will begin as soon as Spring Term 2019 (January – March). Must have 5 years progressive practical experience in the accounting profession with emphasis on the appropriate areas of taxation. A doctorate in the field (Ph.D. or D.B.A. in accounting and/or tax or J.D. with emphasis on taxation), with a professional accounting or taxation certification is preferred. Minimum of a doctorate degree with 18 graduate credit hours in tax and/or accounting is required. Prior teaching experience at the university level is preferred.
