Indirect Tax Manager
Duties: Oversee domestic and international indirect tax compliance for a rapidly changing and disruptive company. Work with third-party provider to prepare and/or review monthly, quarterly and annual global indirect tax returns including US sales tax, VAT, gross receipts, and other indirect taxes in multiple jurisdictions. Support **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s long-term strategic plan by providing tax compliance and strategic guidance. Develop management reporting and commentary that provides senior leaders with timely insights into indirect tax related issues, trends, and risks. Perform legal research and analysis on a variety of state/local and international indirect tax issues and draft memoranda. Manage sales and use tax audits in partnership with internal business partners as well as third party service providers. Partner with business leaders, tax, finance, treasury, legal, audit and external advisers on various business indirect tax questions and tax planning matters. Develop and deliver quality tax planning approaches with timely and responsive services and work products that meet and/or exceed internal expectations. Assist in the determination of sales/use and VAT tax consequences related to new products and innovations; and lead solutions addressing corresponding compliance requirements. Work with Finance/Legal/IT Teams to enhance reporting and compliance processes. Exhibit attention to detail while also understanding the larger issues and broader implications of projects. Ensure timely filing and payment of indirect tax compliance requirements. Review legal contracts for sales/use and indirect tax language.
