Web Application for Hurricane/Storm Management and Text Product Generation
The Hurricane Network is looking for an individual with advanced knowledge of Python and PHP to create a web application for managing active bulletin products during hurricanes for our private sector website.
What will be needed:
- A database of active and non active storms with current and previous advisory text products
- Be able to generate advisories from a template via the web app.
- Be able to interact with Python on the server to create plots once the advisory is issued.
- Post text products to server or have the WordPress website read the advisory from the database.
The Hurricane Network is a non-governmental forecasting organization dedicated for hurricane forecasting and analyst.
