Lead Federal Tax Analyst Hybrid

My client is a Fortune 100 company seeking a Lead Federal Tax Analyst to join their team!
What you will do
Under the general direction of the Domestic Tax Manager you will perform multiple facets of the domestic federal tax practice. This includes duties of the federal tax compliance and provision process and tax project planning and implementation. Support the tax return numbers as part of the IRS audit. Keep up with federal tax law changes. Ensures compliance with tax laws and minimizes the tax burden of the company.
This will be a hybrid role based out of the Milwaukee, WI office.
What we look for
Proven work experience as a Tax Senior.
Both Public accounting and industry experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MST or JD.
CPA designation preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive responsibility with federal tax compliance preferred.
High degree of competency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Prior experience with various tax and accounting software applications, including CorpTax, OneSource Tax Provision and HFM preferred.
Strong leadership, project management and personnel management skills.
Analytical skills with detail orientation.
Good communication skills, both oral and written, including ability to communicate technical issues to both tax and non-tax professionals.
