Position Highlights

Virginia Mason Bellevue supports a diverse team of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers providing primary care to adolescent and adult patients.  Our Advanced Practice Providers (APP) manage a personal panel of primary care patients, as well as support the larger team with indirect care coverage throughout the week.  Approximately 75% of time is spent focused on direct patient care via in-person or televideo visits and 25% of time is addressing indirect patient care needs.  Provider schedules can vary and may include working 8-hour or 10-hour days and could support up to one day working from home providing virtual care.

 

Other services at Bellevue include a variety of providers from our Departments of Medicine and Surgery, as well we a full complement of radiology and lab services.

Washington State Registered Nurse License and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License are required for this job. 
Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required depending on the position, as well as prescriptive authority. 
Advanced background in nursing; an understanding of anatomy, physiology, histology, and pharmacology; and strong interpersonal and counseling skills.
Certification by specialty area as well as work experience in specialty area may be required, depending on the position.
BLS and ACLS required

Physician Assistant-C


This position requires Certification as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.
