Profile

Perform system administration and management functions for Microsoft Windows Server, Unix, HP-UX, Linux, Solaris and Dec Alpha servers. Establish, track and audit system level user accounts and passwords.Install authorized system software releases and security patches with coordination with. User POC or Program Manager.Perform system backup and restore actions. Notify the User POC or Program Manager when acquisition of additional or upgraded hardware or software is needed. Establish and manage hardware devices and administer the operating system. Manage host peripheral hardware including disk files and space utilization. Provide interface with tech support personnel for repairs and scheduled maintenance Perform system startup and reboot when necessary.Control use of host peripheral equipment in computer room.Conduct, write and submit system risk analysis reports. Respond to user’s trouble calls, i.e. system level log on problems, host connectivity problems (LAN, ISN, Ethernet, etc.). Perform system administrative and management support for application upgrades. Perform set up of necessary processes for new system interfaces. Perform server and database backup, recovery and restore. Perform with developing continuity of operations documents and training materials.

3 years IBM WebSphere experience (ver. 6.X, 7.X, or 8.X) 7 years Windows Server experience (2 years must be Windows Server 2008) Mandatory:
8570 Security , IAT Level 2 certification 2 years Linux industry certification 2 years Oracle/SQL industry certification
