Principal Network Engineer - CCNP

DHL is looking to add a Principal Network Engineer to its America’s Network Engineering team based in Mechanicsburg, PA.  This technical position is primarily responsible for DHL’s Global Data Networks and Data Centers.   The successful candidate for this position will be a customer oriented and motived self-starter that efficiently and professionally interacts with fellow IT team members in addition to internal and external customers.  You will love your job! Day to day responsibilities: Providing technical consultancy for internal teamsLeading networking projects from technical perspectiveCooperation with other teams and vendors to define the best solutions within given standards, criteria’s, and goalsPreparing and implementing technology changes in our Global Data Centers Configuration of network systems – especially but not limited to Cisco LAN and WAN equipment Develop strategies for delivering world class networking services Lead the development of architectures for complex telecom systems Proactively work on improvements and plans Mentor junior colleagues   Must have skills: 7 years’ experience in a datacenter supporting a large enterprise with thousands of virtual servers (global preferred)Expert level knowledge of networking technologies.
