Job Description Inspects, maintains, repairs and installs instrument and electrical systems, Ethernet (SCADA) Network Maintenance, radio communication & various types of mechanical equipment and fixtures.
Compensation is $38 - $55 per hour DOE.
Qualifications Ability to read, write and comprehend English (operational, process, safety and quality instructions) and be able to carry out verbal and written instructions.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
At least 5 years’ experience in a related position in a similar environment with ability to comprehend basic ladder logic control systems, some experience with radio communication systems and remote site controls, Ethernet network maintenance, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics and manuals.
Must demonstrate proficiency in the care and use of all site specific, facility required PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), including gas detectors, confined space equipment, LOTO etc.)
Ability to trouble-shoot and work safely around 480V energized motor control panels.
Must consistently demonstrate the ability to perform all assigned tasks in an organized, accurate and timely manner.
Must demonstrate ability to efficiently maintain, install and repair any instruments which may include sensors, transmitters, indicators and other process measuring and control equipment.
Must demonstrate ability to efficiently maintain, install and repair most mechanical & electrical equipment which may include pumps, blowers, compressors and other electrically driven equipment.
Must have the ability to diagnose problems regardless of complexity, troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems and take corrective action within policy and procedure limitations.
Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
Must demonstrate ability to operate Computer Maintenance Management System (software).
Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
