Position Summary:
Acts as a liaison between business domains (Merchants, Finance, etc.) and the IT department to understand business challenges and identify business process or technology solutions to solve those challenges. Primary responsibilities include completing project risk assessments, managing requirements, gathering activities and deployment of techniques such as process modeling and problem solving.
Position Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, Acts as a liaison between business domains and IT to understand business challenges and opportunity so they may be turned into strategic value for the company
Identify new business opportunities and may create business cases to support new projects
Gather requirements through requirements workshops, interviewing and job shadowing
Document requirements through use case diagrams, business use cases, workflow diagrams, textual requirements and prototyping
May lead or assist with Conference Room Pilots (CRPs)
May lead or assist in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
May lead or assist conduct End User Training (EUT)
Bachelors degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or related fields
1-3 years experience in at least one of the following business domains (i.e. Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Stores, Human Resources, Finance)
Strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing (including technical writing skills)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to set priorities and manage multiple work assignments simultaneously
