Senior Compliance Officer, Conflicts of Interest
Duties: Assist the COMPANY global subject matter expert for the conflicts of interest risk area with the management of the ongoing implementation and maintenance of the COMPANY Global Employee Conflicts of Interest Policy, Standard, and related procedures. Assist with development of guidance and training to Local Compliance Officers, risk assessment reviews, and development of training content for the COMPANY global employee and non-employee populations. Assist with the management of the ongoing implementation and maintenance of the COMPANY Code of Conduct; the COMPANY Director, Officer, and Senior Financial Officer Code of Business Conduct & Ethics; and the COMPANY Third Party Code of Conduct, including coordination of the annual review and approval of document content and related disclosure forms. Manage the annual COMPANY Code of Conduct Certification disclosure review process, including analysis of COMPANY employee responses globally and coordination of related follow-up efforts with Regional and Local Compliance Officers. Continually assess and enhance existing processes through the use of technology-based solutions and automation. Assist with the review and evaluation of conflict of interest related inquiries, requests, and disclosures for COMPANY Corporate Function employees. As appropriate, escalate matters to the COMPANY global subject matter expert for the conflicts of interest risk area. Establish strong working relationships with peer compliance professionals and internal business partners. Conduct research into best practices, frameworks, and methodologies that address specific project needs and strategic decisions in the areas of conflicts of interest and ethics. Manage other Compliance initiatives and participate on global projects, as needed.
