Executive Director, Center for Law and Public Policy

Duties: Collaborate with the Faculty Director of the Center, the Advisory Board, and other College faculty in developing ideas for symposia, conferences and debates on issues of public policy. Bear primary responsibility for implementation and hosting of programs referenced above (invitations, announcements, conference planning and marketing). Produce white papers, op-eds, press and marketing materials growing out of such conference, targeted at both internal and external audiences. Counsel students at area law schools on nature and requirements of Fellowship in Law and Public Policy, craft and disseminate application materials, review applications and select annual fellows; Design and implement a summer fellowship educational program, including matching students with mentors and placements, planning and teaching seminars for fellows, and conducting field trips. Manage external relations with Advisory Board of the Center at College Law School, interested alumni/ae, and potential donors. Work with the Associate Dean for Development at the Law School to develop new sources of funding for both on-going and new Center initiatives and programs. Supervise administrative staff member.
