As an architect you will work closely with product owners and domain experts, oversee implementation to ensure alignment to architectural standards, and set strategic direction for platform technology.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eu003cbu003e What You Will Do: u003c/bu003eu003cbru003e u003culu003e u003cliu003eAssist in defining the product roadmaps and architecture, according to business strategies and product standards/processes.u003c/liu003e u003cliu003eResolve routine application issues, assess any potential risks, and identify solutions.u003c/liu003e u003cliu003eCollaborate with other product owner teams, technology experts, and business partners to provide functional support.u003c/liu003e u003cliu003eProvide technical feedback into key application architecture decisions.u003c/liu003e u003cliu003eAssist in the evaluation of vendors and products and participate in build vs. buy discussions with the product teams.u003c/liu003e u003c/ulu003eu003cbu003eWhat It Takes: u003c/bu003eu003cbru003e u003culu003e u003cliu003eExpert knowledge of advice financial planning concepts (such as tax loss harvesting, tax optimization, differences between account tax types, social security options, cashflow projection concepts)u003c/liu003e u003cliu003eStrong knowledge and application of Micro-service design principles and standard processes: bounded contexts, resiliency, API spec driven designu003c/liu003e u003cliu003eStrong knowledge of AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, Dynamo, S3, SNS, and SQSu003c/liu003e u003cliu003eStrong knowledge of service-to-service integration patternsu003c/liu003e u003cliu003eExperience developing in Java, JavaScript, or Pythonu003c/liu003e u003cliu003eAbility to assist a delivery team with bugs, design patterns, enhancements, refactoring, impact analysis and assessment as well as mentor engineers in their careeru003c/liu003e u003cliu003eMinimum of eight years related work experience, with at least three years of technology architect experience.u003c/liu003e u003cliu003eUndergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
