Software Engineer

Profile

I have an immediate need for a Junior or Mid-Level C# Developer in the near Western Suburbs of Chicago. This is a Full-Time, Permanent role with a great investment firm.
This role entails the development and support of multiple financial-related applications. Fifty (50%) percent of the role entails the development of brand new applications. The remaining 50% comprises troubleshooting, support and enhancements to existing applicators. The technology being used for all new and some existing applications includes C#, SQL Server and ASP.NET among other Microsoft technologies. Please note that some of the applications are written in Java and while they will be ported over by this time next year, some enhancements and updates will have to be done in Java.
This firm has a history that goes back over 60 years and boasts over 500 BILLION dollars under management. They are a global organization with a significant US presence. This is a full-time role and as such offers a full complement of benefits including:

To be considered for this role, you must know or have the following experience:
- 2 years of C#
- 2 years of SQL Server
- 1 years of ASP.NET
- Some exposure to Java and a willingness to write in Java until all applications are ported.
