The candidate will do preparation and review, motion practice, discovery, substantial appearances in District and Justice Courts and the surrounding Counties, and appellate process. Client development, retention and interaction. Strong work ethic, great organizational skills, superb inter-personal and social skills, self-starter, responsible and enjoy working as part of a team required. Local travel required. Periodic evening events and occasional travel to other parts of the state required. Juris Doctor required. Entry level to 5 years experience preferred. Familiarity with ad valorem taxation, open meetings, public information act, bankruptcy, probate, land titles and other law applicable to local government entities preferred. Familiarity with the West Texas Region is a plus.
