Description
Are you looking to help positively impact the lives of the Medicare population? Do you want a position with the ability to work in the field while meeting new people on a regular basis? If so, we are looking for an Van Driver to prepare CarePlus' Van for marketing activities, drive to events and maintain the vehicle's overall appearance.
Responsibilities
In this field position, you will report to the Manager of Sales Administration. Working hours are flexible, but a full shift is required as work dictates including some evenings and weekends. You will have overall responsibility for checking and maintaining the Van daily, ensuring it is mechanically safe and clean, and inspect the vehicle for any defects and safety concerns. This position will include delivering marketing materials, setting up for marketing activities and events, including loading and unloading boxes, tents, tables/chairs and other marketing displays; purchasing food and other items needed at events, handling office deliveries and managing inventory of marketing supplies. You will also be responsible to report traffic accidents, violations (tickets), and any other incidents. Other responsibilities include cleaning the vehicle and performing basic administrative tasks as needed. This position typically works on routine and patterned assignments for the Medicare Sales Representative. Required Qualifications
1 year of professional driving experience in a safe, timely and efficient manner in both urban and rural environments including city streets and interstate travel.
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Must have basic mechanical skills, for example, the ability to check and fully inspect the vehicle daily.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, with a variety of locations, following policies and procedures.
Computer efficient with Outlook plus the ability to navigate mobile apps.
Must be able to lift boxes and marketing displays up to 50 lbs.
Knowledge of streets and addresses in the driving area.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Must live within a daily commutable distance of the assigned territory
Additional Information
For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
