Data Integration Analyst

Profile

Technical Skills Needed
* Excellent T-SQL skills including the ability to understand and
apply these principles:
o Sub queries
o Aggregate queries
o Inner, outer, left, right and cross joins
o CRUD operations
o Stored procedures and functions
* Excellent Excel skills (2010)
* Strong understanding of data modeling and business intelligence including these concepts:
o Star Schemas (fact tables and dimension tables)
o Primary Keys, Foreign Keys and Relationship Types (1-1, 1-many,many-many with bridge tables)
o Cubes
o Hierarchies
o Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs)
* Intermediate VBA (Excel Macro) skills - ability to understand code and make modifications where necessary
* Basic ETL skills (SSIS specifically would be a plus)
* Basic SSAS skills
* Experience data modeling and reverse engineering databases in Visio would be a plus
* Experience with Cognos would be a plus
* Experience with Access databases would be a plus (if they have astrong SQL background coming up to speed shouldn't be a big issue)
Potential Projects and Tasks for Resource
* Maintain Finance Forecast Tool (requires SQL, Excel, SSAS and VBA skills)
* Maintain Intercompany Elimination tool (requires SQL, VBA, Access and Excel skills)
* Source additional data into the Executive Information System by conforming dimensions with existing data (requires SSIS, SQL and Data Modeling skills)
* Work with Team to ensure that data in the EIS is accurate and in he proper format to be consumed by Cognos (requires SSIS, SQL and Data Modeling skills)
