Position Summary
TestPros is looking for several QA Test professionals, ranging in experience level, for a multi-year project in the Columbia, MD area. Responsibilities include developing test cases and test scripts, performing and executing manual and automated functional and regression testing, and developing test results reports. Candidates must have good communication skills, both written and oral, attention to detail, skill in conducting test efforts in commercial environments, and the ability to analyze problems and recommend solutions.
Skills Required:
* Black box functional testing.
* Ability to support test planning, requirements traceability, and to provide input on test coverage.
* Attention to detail and skill in tracking against test plans and test cases.
* Test environment configuration management.
* Performing 'positive' and 'negative' testing as well as verifying functionality.
* Usability and Compliance (Section 508) analysis.
* Configuration and release management of testing data, documentation, and environments.
* Defect analysis, documentation, communication, and tracking.
* Automation experience with QTP and/or LoadRunner.
Experience:
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* 3 years* experience working in the software test QA function.
* Working knowledge of SOAPUI, X12/EDI Transactions, XML, QTP, XQuery.
* 3 years* experience working with full range of test activities, from planning through completion.
* Experience testing combinations of hardware, firmware, and software.
* Fast-paced Agile iterative projects.
