Job Summary:
The Staff Technologist works with patients to produce high quality radiographs in accordance with the mission and philosophy of this facility.
 
Essential Duties:


Performs radiographic examinations per established protocols and procedures.
Assists radiologists and other physicians as required in the performance of radiologic exam.
Operates all equipment safely and efficiently and reports any equipment problems promptly.
Maintains room cleanliness and all necessary supplies for assigned working area.
Records pertinent information in order to maintain accurate records

Maintains professional standards by participating in in-services, meetings, committees and continuing education.
Performs clerical functions as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.','!*!Education:

Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT),
OR registry eligible as a graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology and to achieve registration within six months of graduation or hire date.
Experience:

None required.
License/Certification:

ARRT or eligible.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.  Effective September 1, 2017,current BLS through the American Heart Association, or a previously approved provider, will be required before employment.
