Our client is a privately held company, experiencing very strong growth. We seek a result driven Product Marketing Director to own the growth path for the flagship product in our business.
Position Description:
Highly motivated, results-oriented professional to drive product marketing for company products targeting CIO and VP level audience. This role requires a broad skill set including product positioning, promotion, competitive strategy and partner strategy. S/he uses the full marketing mix to drive product adoption including social media, blogs, white papers, customer case studies, website, and industry events. The Product Marketing Director functions as the GM for their business and owns the market success for their products. The position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities
Develop product positioning, go-to-market strategy with supporting business case
Create compelling content to build awareness and educate prospects through buying cycle
Work with campaigns team to execute high-velocity lead gen campaigns
Support sales team via training and deal support to help close deals
Educate and enable channel partners on solutions
Build strong customer relationships; amplify the 'customer voice' in all marketing actions
Represent the company at industry events and trade-shows.
Requirements
At least 6-8 years of product marketing experience at an enterprise software company
Demonstrated record of launching successful products that require selling and evangelizing at different levels of an enterprise
Proven ability to recognize, analyze, and execute successful go to market approaches
Ability to initiate and execute marketing strategies end-to-end, very metrics driven
Passion for evangelizing new disruptive technologies in the social enterprise space
Strong awareness of technology trends and inflection points in the Information Analytics and Big Data Analytics industry
Strong presentation and influence skills with external audiences, including the influencers and social communities
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Team player, driven. Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
MBA from a top program a plus
