Research and Instruction Librarian
The candidate will serve as a member of the Research and Instruction team, providing legal reference and research services to law students, faculty, staff, the College community, and other patrons of the Law Library. Will serve in a leading role in providing access to online research resources, law library online outreach, and workshops and trainings. Provide reference and research support to law school students, faculty, staff, the College community, and other patrons of the Law Library. Provide reference services at the reference desk, in individual student consultations, and via phone, email, and online chat. Provide in-depth research assistance to law school faculty. Participate in faculty research projects assigned to the research and instruction department. Digital and Electronic Resource Management. Create and maintain research guides, instructional videos, and other research resources. Maintain and extend the library’s online presence, including the library website, Libguides, blog, social media, and other outreach services. Provide password and training support to the law campus for major legal research databases. Develop and conduct workshops and trainings. Provide instruction and curriculum support to Lawyering, clinical, and substantive law courses. Participate in teaching upper-division legal research courses. Participate in the evaluation and selection of information resources. Maintain current awareness of new research tools and resources.
