Technical Skills:
Sybase ASE 12.5, 15.5, 15.7, Sybase Replication Server 15.x, Solaris and Linux operating systems
Required Skills:
Knowledge & experience of Sybase ASE 12.5, 15.5, 15.7
Must have experience in Sybase Replication Server 15.x
Experience in supporting Sybase (or other RDBMS’s) on both Solaris and Linux operating systems
Strong communication skills
Desired skills:
Sybase IQ 15.x along with database design and implementation of High Availability and Recovery models; including setup, configuration, and monitoring of database recovery strategies such as replication and clustering.
Familiarity with UNIX shell scripting and programming in C, Perl, Java.
Experience with tools such as Embarcadero DBArtisan, Whitesands ProActiveDBA and Sybase SCC.
Exrience in supporting Securities Investment Group trading environment and knowledge of Fixed Income business unit functions and applications.
