Profile

Lead Security Engineer/Manager to lead as SME on security infrastructure planning, security architecture and roadmaps with emphasis on network and data security. Responsible for developing security policies. Supervise a small security team. Lead the selection, implementation and operation of tools to assist with the characterizing and mitigating risk. Audit firewalls, VPN concentrator and server configurations. Manage technology selection, technical designs and implementation of major security components such as Intrusion Detection systems, VPN and firewalls. Provide hands on execution as well when necessary as team lead.
Desired background:
-Advanced knowledge of IT security functions, particularly in network and data center security
-Broad knowledge of security architecture and operating system implementations
-Excellent network layer intrusion detection and security skills
-Familiar with tools for data mining and Unix based scripting languages
-CISSP, GIAC or other certifications desired
