Job Details:

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be able to perform single phase and 3 phase electrical troubleshooting and repairs on production and plant equipment. Perform fabrication and welding job duties as needed. Other duties assigned by your Supervisor. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Position requires reading manuals, diagrams, part lists, blue print, schematics and service manuals. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be able to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job. Position hours are from 6 pm to 6 am with a rotating schedule.

Requirements:

One year Industrial Maintenance experience required. Must have continuous work history of 6 months in the past 12 months at one employer to be considered for this position. Applicant must possess basic computer skills. These positions work in a cold, damp to hot environment. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. Applicant must be able to lift 70 lbs.
