DataStage ETL Developer

Profile

Looking for a Strong DataStage ETL Developer Minimum Requirements:
• 5 years of ETL development using DataStage - MUST have advanced SQL skills
• Hands-on development experience in DW on large scale development leveraging industry standard ETL tools (e.g. DataStage (preferred ETL tool) or Informatica).
• Strong leadership experience including proven success in leading development teams in complex Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence project implementations
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skill with proven experience in working directly with business customers
• ETL code deployment, production troubleshooting experience
• Strong ETL performance tuning skills. The ability to quickly and efficiently analyze and resolve performance issues within variety of operational environments
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data
• Proven problem-solving / problem resolution abilities
• MUST have excellent communication skills
Preferred:
• Experience leading technical design for data integration to data warehouse.
• Understanding of data mart development to include dimensional structures
• Advanced SQL skills including complex query building and query performance tuning
• Data analysis skills - ability to dig in and understand complex models and business processes
• Oracle, Netezza, or Teradata database experience
• Data warehousing design skills
• Requirements gathering/facilitation skills
• Requirements Development, documentation, and analysis
• Data profiling experience
• Defining and implementing data integration architecture
