Director of Sustainability
Duties: The candidate will be collating, managing, and analyzing data to support sustainability reporting against multiple ESG frameworks and regulations and function as the subject matter expert on ESG and sustainability. Provide leadership to and manage a team of business professionals including coaching, mentoring, and professional development, and will be responsible for providing performance feedback on a regular basis. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and refine the firm’s strategic sustainability goals and programs and continually evaluate programs and adjust as needed to ensure success. Engage with the firm’s lawyers and business professionals in relation to sustainability matters, including the development of office initiatives, and look at opportunities to improve sustainability habits of our professionals. Collect and analyze data for a variety of uses, and annual sustainability reports for the firm’s operations. Identify trends, opportunities, and issues and develop and monitor targets in relation to the firm’s sustainability performance. Respond to clients’ requests for information regarding the firm’s operational sustainability programs and performance and support the firm’s global sustainability compliance. Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm and in our international offices to coordinate efforts and strategic direction. Work closely with the firm’s marketing and communications teams on the firm’s internal communications regarding sustainability, annual reporting as well as sustainability-related media relations.
