Additionally, candidates must have superior academic credentials, excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as a commitment to providing the highest quality client service. Acceptable background credentials can include: Biochemical Genetics, Bio-Medical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Engineering, Computer Science (Engineering), Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, Genetic Engineering, Genetics, Material Science, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, Organic Chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmacy. It's strongly preferred that candidates be qualified to sit for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office examination. Should work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring.
