Company Description Job Description The Field Services Technician is a graduated position providing advancement potential upon demonstration of the mastery of skills to deliver increasingly complex products from storage tanks to water & wastewater network systems.
Perform field asset inspections for annual reports
General knowledge of general rigging techniques
Skill and ability to determine issues that need to be resolved during inspections
General knowledge of water system networks including piping, valves, hydrants, wells, & treatment plants
Qualifications Will be required to climb to elevated heights when working with tanks.
Must be able to work in confined spaces.
Travel away from home is a must and occasionally 7 days a week.
Work is done in all outdoor weather conditions and temperatures.
Lengthy vehicle travels are a common occurrence.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Strong communications skills that should increase with grade progression
Ability to build customer rapport at all grade levels
Good analytical problem solving skills
Knowledge and ability to work with subcontractors that increases with grade progression
Strong mechanical aptitude
Strong knowledge of interior and exterior tank coatings
Strong knowledge of Water and Wastewater network systems.
Ability to acquire welding certifications Must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to acquire CDL license Water system operator certificate is a plus
NACE Certification is a plus Technical School Certification is a plus
