We are looking to hire Caregiver in the following areas: Brockton, Quincy, Milton, Mattapan, JP, South Boston, Roxbury, Randolph, New Bedford, Mansfield and surrounding areas
General Description: To provide in home, non-medical care to senior citizens or others to help them meet personal needs.
I. Responsibilities: Provide individualized in-home care to elders/disabled persons (referred to as Participants) in accordance with the Assignment Plan constructed by the caregiver coordinator.
a. Home care services provided include:
light housekeeping
meal preparation
assist with personal hygiene and grooming, e.g., Bathing, dressing, etc.
monitor physical/environmental conditions as needed.
medication reminders
assist with laundry if washing machine is available.
b. Provide companionship and support.
c. Advise HCT of all incidents/situations that might put you or the Participant in danger.
d. In some cases, assist with pivot transfers- bed to chair, chair to commode, wheelchair to car, etc.
e. Call 911, and then HCT if emergencies occur while on duty in the Participants home.
