Sr. Business Intelligence Developer - 80K-85K

Profile

One of Infonet's premier clients in South Florida has an IMMEDIATE need for a Sr. Business Intelligence Developer. This is a fulltime position as a direct hire.
The role is to design, develop and support application and database architecture solutions for the varied business units within the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Point of contact with business owners to define, design, code and lead development efforts
- Manage project development life cycle from design and planning to delivery
- Designs, develops, and implement highly-complex, reliable, and scalable systems to meet the organization's business objectives and requirements
- Mentor developers for best practice methodology and programming standards
- Designs, develops, and implement highly-complex, reliable, and scalable databases to meet the organization's business objectives and requirements
- Define and document the technical architecture of application databases, enterprise databases, and the data warehouse
- Address data modeling, indexing strategies, database objects maintenance (size and physical location), processing patterns and CPU usage management, temporary space and rollback segments, RAID implementation, and other technical issues
- Work closely with the operational DBAs to help ensure the physical design meets the functional and performance requirements of the databases
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-10 years experience with SQL development
- Minimum 5 years designing, developing, and supporting databases (Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, XML)
- Minimum 5 year designing, developing, and supporting multi-dimensional databases (Microsoft SSAS, MDX)
- Previous leadership, project management and business analysis experience
- An undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, or similar field is required
