Infrastructure And Cloud Security Architect

As part of the Cybersecurity organization, the Infrastructure Security Architect is responsible for ensuring a secure design for the corporate Network, IT hosting platforms and Cloud IaaS environments. This position will also include thought leadership and design influence of our security posture and security services including firewalls, servers and other security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a drive to succeed as a valuable member of our Cybersecurity architecture team. Excellent communication skills, a desire to thrive, learn and improve, while staying on top of technology advancements are strongly desired. Demonstrated experience in the relevant areas including AWS security is required.

Responsibilities:


Develop security architecture strategies in the form of standards, patterns, and guidelines, with emphasis on AWS IaaS, internal Infrastructure as well as Network security.
Serve as primary cybersecurity interface to collaborate with other IT functions for establishing information security functional requirements, security solution options and infrastructure implementation plans.
Advise and contribute to strategies and initiatives to strengthen the network and infrastructure security program.
Provide technical security leadership and act as subject matter expert providing architecture advice during and after security events.
Perform other network and infrastructure security duties as needed or required.


Required Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree and security certifications including CISSP, CCNP, CCIE, CCSE, MCSE, CISSP-ISSAP, AWS Architect, AWS Security, CCSP, GIAC are a plus.
Extensive experience architecting network security solutions with Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) and CheckPoint firewall technologies
Hands-on implementation experience deploying security solutions including firewalls, intrusion detection, access controls, etc.
Deep knowledge of network protocols and network security designs including NAC, Web Proxies, IDS/IPS, SDWAN, DNS, DHCP, DMZ architectures, cloud services and VPN technologies
Strong knowledge of AWS security concepts and practices
Strong knowledge of wireless networking including design, support and authentication
Experience working with AWS Security services CloudTrail, CloudWatch and GuardDuty
Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows and Linux Server operating system security, SAN, Storage and other data center technologies
Knowledge of Identity management systems, Microsoft Active Directory, gateway technologies and SSO solutions
