Overview
The Senior Director of Global Flex Partnerships will own the development and execution of Twilio’s contact center partner strategy for Twilio Flex and Twilio’s contact center-related products including SI, technology, and strategic partner relationships.
This individual
will be an industry expert with deep understanding of the customer engagement/contact center domain and technology landscape and will be expected to work closely with our field sales and customers to unlock partnerships that will drive accelerated customer adoption of Flex.
This individual
will serve as a thought leader and business partner to both our Product & Regional GMs and will be expected to work cross functionally to achieve the business objectives.
This individual
will be a senior, individual contributor with mastery of indirect, cross-functional leadership and a solid body of work and successes. This role requires a combination of tactical and strategic skills to develop a trusted advisor relationship with internal stakeholders and partners globally to ensure the engagement model can deliver value to them and Twilio. In this role, you will utilize strong management and relationship building competencies to lead a team, set a vision and report out on progress, clearly and consistently. She or he will have excellent communication skills and a proven track record in assessing partnership potential, defining, closing and executing against mutually successful business plans.
Who?
10 years of experience in managing partner relationships and programs at the executive level within the contact center ecosystem
5 years managing a team with a strong track record of delivering exceptional results
Low ego, high energy, with a bias towards jumping-in and solving problems
Ability to work with a sense of urgency, discriminate between critical and non-critical requirements, and prioritize tasks accordingly
Strategic - Provide proactive, meaningful insight & identification of long-term or overall aims and interests and the means of achieving them
Decisive - Uses a framework or process by which to make decisions. At times, will need to make decisions quickly and often with incomplete data
Persuasive - “Write it down” and bring others to their point of view using your strong communication skills, logic, data, and persuasive presentation skills. Have a formal process and framework by which to make qualitative and quantitative points, not just emotional appeals
Accountable - Being willing to answer for the outcomes resulting from their own choices, behaviors, and actions. Take ownership of situations that they're involved in

In this highly visible role, you will own the partner business plan and drive top & bottom line for one of our highest growth segments. In addition to ownership of new business development & growth, you will be responsible for other associated financial, operational, and partner satisfaction metrics.
BE BOLD: Build a clear, concise partner strategy for our contact center business and related products that will fuel the next generation of growth
BE AN OWNER: Work cross-functionally to implement new and existing initiatives with multiple internal organizations including product, sales, marketing, services, and product marketing / management organizations, to deliver key partner functionality as well as growing pipeline and revenue
WEAR THE CUSTOMER’S SHOES: Engage with businesses throughout the ecosystem to uncover opportunities for disruption and innovation
DON’T SETTLE: Establish Twilio as THE platform in the customer engagement space for Technology and Consulting partners to build their businesses
